Command Strip Mounting Kit
Put it up now, move it later. Command strips make placement a guess you can take back — no drilling, no holes, no committing to a spot before you know it's the right one.
That matters more than it sounds. The work in setting up Drop Points isn't mounting them, it's deciding where each one goes. Stick them where it seems right, watch where people actually set cards down for a week, then move the ones that guessed wrong.
One kit does one Drop Point, so order them one-for-one with your bins — five bins, five kits.
In the kit
- 2 Command mounting strips
- 1 alcohol prep swab
How to mount
- Wipe the wall with the swab. Wait 30 seconds for it to dry.
- Snap the two strips together and peel the liners.
- Press them to the back panel of the Drop Point.
- Press the Drop Point to the wall and hold for 30 seconds.
- Let it set for one hour before you load cards.
The swab is the step people skip. A wall that looks clean still carries dust and hand oils, and that's what breaks a bond weeks later — usually with a full bin of cards on it. Ten seconds of prep is the difference between a mount that holds and one that lets go.
Check your surface first
Adhesive strips want a smooth, clean, painted surface — drywall, finished wood, tile, metal. They don't hold on brick, textured or knock-down walls, raw concrete, or anything dusty or oily. If that's your shop, every Drop Point ships with two zip ties for wire shelving and racks, and the keyhole slot takes a screw anywhere else.
